I have found the best way to find hope for the people of Palestine has been to meet the people of Palestine. In the two weeks I have been here, I have been introduced to compassion, truth and potential – all within the Palestinian people. To be oppressed in such a sophisticated and manipulative way and to have the international community just watch should breach any human’s healthy heart. But to watch life go on, and for those that are oppressed to find enough love to welcome strangers into their homes in an experience that not only will I never forget, but I have learned a great deal from. The weak intimidate the vulnerable. The strong stand between the weak and the vulnerable.
