The Impact of the Imposed Israeli Occupation Siege on An-Najah National University Students
This report has been undertaken by the Public Relations Department of An-Najah National University, Nablus, in the West Bank of the Palestinian National Authority, to improve the level of awareness of international NGOs and the world outside in general. Our aim is to show what students of our academic institutions have been, and continue to be subjected to during the last 21 months.
The report regards the violation of our students rights to live as normal students, the difficulties and the obstacles they have to face on their daily bases life, not only at the Israeli occupation army checkpoints but also in the city of Nablus, especially during the different invasions of the Israeli army in the city.
It also includes the collective punishment which is normally used against our students, the humiliations and insulations, and whatever makes the academy life unbelievable.
This reports aims to tell the truth about the uncivilized practices of the Israeli occupation soldiers, which did not have any other goal but humiliating and putting more pressure on our students to give up.
