Zajel Organizes a Photo Presentation on Wildlife in Minnesota
An-Najah’s Zajel volunteer Steve Jonson displayed a distinct photo collection on his ten-year experience in Minnesota forests in the U.S.
The photos demonstrated his daily life in the old forests of Minnesota for which he left his modern lifestyle.
The volunteer talked about survival techniques and peaceful coexistence with nature and predators such as bears and wolves.
He also discussed role of wildlife in developing one’s confidence and inner peace and gave pieces of advice on how to survive the cold of winter.
He then talked about his ability to develop a system where he can get power in an environmentally friendly way and explained ways to build a safe shelter and depend on healthy food in the wild.
Notes:
The event was organized by the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah and was also attended by a group of the university students.
